History

The beginnings of astebo gmbh go back to 1976, when the HOVAL company set up a production facility for special steam boilers in Marchtrenk (Upper Austria).

30 years later, in 2006, this special steam boiler division was taken over by an Austrian plant manufacturer and integrated as astebo (austrian steam boilers) gmbh into the plant construction company.

After a further 14 years, the positioning of astebo gmbh as an independent medium-sized boiler construction company took place in 2020 in the form of a “management buy-in” by Austrian investors.

With investments in production machinery and personnel development, the strategic capabilities of astebo gmbh are being further strengthened and expanded, particularly in the area of special applications, in order to best meet the individual requirements of our customers.
